These face masks are a type of home remedy for dry skin that some people swear by. The only problem is that
there are literally hundreds of different recipes out there, and all of them claim to work. So how can you know
which ones really work and which ones don't? I've used homemade facial masks for dry skin for years, and below I
have listed some of the best recipes that will actually help with your dry skin.
4 Homemade Facial Masks For Dry Skin
The first homemade facial mask we are going to discuss only requires cabbage and whole milk. This is a very
simple facial mask for dry skin, but it is very effective. All you need to do is take some granulated cabbage
leaves and boil them and whole milk. After a few minutes you should get a stiff paste. You'll then need to apply
this paste to your face and let it sit. After 20 min. has elapsed you are done and can now wash off.
The tomato facemask. This homemade facemask requires grading or squeezing a tomato into a bowl. Then you want to
add a little bit of potato starch and a few drops of vegetable oil to it. Mix this ingredients together until you
get a sticky paste. Then, all you need to do is apply the paste to your face and leave it there for 20 min. Once
the appropriate time has passed you can wash it off with some warm water.
Honey and avocado facemask. This is an excellent facemask for dry skin because it will not only exfoliate your
facial skin, but it will cleanse and moisturize as well. You will need the following ingredients: 60 g of avocado
flesh, 25 g of fresh orange juice, 5 g of pure acacia honey, 5 g of molasses, and five drops of chamomile essential
oil. What you have all the ingredients, you need to mix them together. Some people do it by hand, but I prefer
blender. Once you're finished, you'll have a nice thick mixture that you can then apply to your face and neck. You
should let it sit for about a half an hour, and then rinse off with warm water.
The oatmeal facemask. This facial mask is great for dry skin care and it
will also purify your skin. You will need the following ingredients: 1/2 cup of oatmeal, one whole smashed ripe
avocado, 1/3 cup of all-natural honey. While you're mixing the mashed avocado with the honey, you want to
continuously keep adding the oatmeal to it. When you're finished you should have a nice thick paste to apply to
your face. Leave this on your face for about 15 min., and then wash it off with some warm water.
When you are using any of these homemade facial masks for dry
skin, use should see good results within a week. The best way to use these homemade facial masks is to try them
out and see which one works best for you. If one is not giving you the results you desire, then try different one.
Eventually you're going to find the right one for you that will relieve your dry skin and restore your youthful
glow.
